As her college classroom peers hoped to find something that would trigger their future direction and possibilities, her teachers saw something that would give her the guidance toward a fulfilling and profitable tomorrow. (It's amazing how people can see things in us, that we have either been blind to or haven't assigned value to, as yet.) As it turned out, her profs approached her with the idea of having her coach another teacher, to help him learn how to present the material in a more compelling, memorable, and influential way.
She has personally interviewed and researched CIA agents, undercover law enforcement, con-artists, human intelligence officers, interrogators, trial attorneys, and many other individuals who are highly skilled at influencing people during critical moments.

No surprise here - as an up-and-coming entrepreneur, he had a different philosophy and style than his boss. He was a corporate guy, a manager, struggling to make a difference, but losing a little of himself at the same time. While it probably didn't feel like a blessing at the time, the straw that broke the corporate camel's back was actually liberating, giving him the opportunity to finally live up to his own potential.
On the show, personal trainer, weight loss expert, and host of Tips of the Scale, Sam Lomeli, shares steps he took after his job loss, how he found his business idea and ways that he stayed positive during the startup.

A chain-reaction collision involving a drunk driver paralyzed her from the waist down. As she explains on the show, a box of forgotten pipe wrenches slammed into her back, almost completely severing her spinal cord. Refusing the wheelchair as well as conventional wisdom, when she was ready to beat obesity, lose the bed weight (she's lost 120 lbs so far), regain her footing and the ability to walk, she didn't seek out physical therapy, she looked for a gym. She was eager and hungry to surround herself with healthy, active, and vibrant people. Author of Everyday Bliss for Busy Women, Maryam Webster is our guest.
One of her biggest A-Ha! moments came when she shifted her thinking and language from "Please God... Please God..." to "Thank you God." Gratitude, for her, made all the difference. Not only is she walking, she's dancing.
What's interesting about this story is that Maryam wasn't always a fierce game-changer. In fact, on the show, she fesses-up to list many things she's quit. It was this unbelievable (physical, emotional, and spiritual) challenge that revealed her true strength, moxie, and mission. She now teaches women how to do the impossible.

He had his life planned out. After gridiron success as a college athlete, his sights were set on the high prize of playing professional football. Earning more money than he could spend, (at least, that's what he thought), he celebrated his early-in-life financial victories with "insane" spending sprees and a matching (and very expensive), "flashy lifestyle". He wasn't interested in keeping up with the Joneses, he was laser-locked on leaving them in the dust.
That all changed, of course, when he found himself on the outskirts of homelessness; a near casualty of his own success - having lost all of his money and living inside his beat-up Jeep Cherokee, just outside the place he used to call home.
The amazing Chris Cerrone, host of The Cerrone Show is our guest, sharing his story of personal growth and real wealth creation.
Two of the most memorable and impressive things he explains on the show - "It was no one's fault by my own", and "I wouldn't change a thing."
